Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta
A rich, restaurant-worthy pasta that comes together in under 30 minutes.
Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
Salt the water generously — it should taste like the sea.
Sear the Chicken
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Build the Sauce
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Don't burn the garlic — keep the heat medium.
Combine Everything
Add parmesan and stir until melted and smooth. Toss in the drained pasta and sliced chicken. Add pasta water a splash at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
Serve
Plate the pasta, garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan. Serve immediately while hot.
A crack of black pepper on top elevates this dish.
